Nearly every aeromodeller aspires to building and flying a Scale aircraft of some sort in their lifetime but often believes that it is not within their capabilities. If you speak to any scale modeller they will tell you that there is nothing particularly difficult about what they do but some of the techniques involved do require patience and occasionally a bit of innovation. Any project is going to take at least 12 months commitment and possibly up to 5 years! Therefore, the builder must be "in love" with the aircraft and have a longing to see it fly. In flight the aims are for realism and accurate manoeuvres appropriate to the aircraft.
